tRANSPARENCY

‘As living space is reduced and confined, private life leaks into public view in the form of laundry, bed covers and food hanging from the windows of the apartments, and furniture outside on the sidewalks.’
‘...urban existence provokes us to live life as a public performance to some degree. We take great pleasure in reinventing ourselves for display, or in having the opportunity to catch a glimpse of someone else in a private moment. It seems people are inherently interested in other people’s lives.’
Through the temporary architecture - ‘small temporary pods’, I am interested to explore more about the urban lifestyles. With their day to day management, I am trying to examine how this ‘pods’ can turns out to be functioned for.
