Reflecting upon the design goal, my small temporary pod will have to be located in area where there is a high traffic level of pedestrians. It is even better if there are a big range in the population age as this will further enables me to analyse the urban lifestyles of a particular area.
I have chosen the site to be in the city centre of Perth, along the Hay st mall. It is a perfect area as there many people coming through this area from all over the city areas. There are many people who come in to Perth CBD to work, live, shop, dine in, meet people and socialise. It is easily accessable by car, bus and trains.
Hay street mall compared to the Murray street mall is a better choice due to its continuity of commercial activities to its east and west direction.
